What
color is right for you?
Blondes:
Light blondes can use wines,
berries, mauves and cappuccino colors
Golden blondes will
look best with shades of coral, apricot or peach
Blondes with olive toned
skin should wear
peaches, browns, or terra cotta's. Blue-eyed blondes
can wear soft shades of red lipstick. Avoid dark
colored shades.
|
Brunettes:
Brunettes can wear terracotta,
cinnamon and reds with a brown tint. Brunettes
with dark eyes can
wear medium to dark shades of red lipstick. |
Redheads:
Choose warm terracotta colors,
cinnamon and peachy browns. |
Black
hair:
Choose reds, deep plums
or mauves. |
|
What happens
when you buy a lipstick and take it home only
to find it just doesn't look right on you (and
you know that they don't take it back like Senegence
distributors do!). That's because as luscious
as a color looks in the tube, no color works
for everyone (and it changes color after
applying, which LipSense® does not do!)
The key is to match up your lipcolor with
your natural skin tone.
Fair skin - Choose
colors with a blue tone in them. If your hair
is light, you'll find roses (Roseberry,
Party Pink (as an accent color), Princess
pink, Sheer Pink) and pink reds (Dark
Pink, Cranberry, Neutral) most flattering.
Avoid deep cherry red (Red Cherry, Currant)
or harsh orange-y shades (Peach, Samon).
If you have dark hair, deep reds (Red Cherry,
Blu-Red, and Cranberry) berries (Sheer
Berry or Dusty Rose, Currant) or plum
(Plum) colors look dramatic and rich.
Musts to avoid: Super pale shades (Pink
Champagne, Beige Champagne and Gold Champagne)
will wash you out and deep earth tones
(Moca, Light Bronze) are too extreme
unless you're tan.
Medium skin -
Warm your skin, expecially it if has a sallow
or olive cast, with vibrant peaches (Samon,
Peach) and orangey reds (Brick), Pure
reds (Blu-Red), light to warm beiges
(Beige Champagne, Nude), chocolate
brown (Light Bronze), terra cottas
(Moca) and other earth tones look spectacular.
Musts to avoid: blue-toned plums (Plum),
wines (Currant), grapes (Concord).
Dark skin -
Go vibrant and bright as you dare. Rich berry
shades (Plum, Sheer Berry), wine reds
(Red Cherry, Currant), Hot plums (Fuscia,
Neutral), (or any of these layered with Party
Pink). You can wear them all.
Musts to avoid: muddy (Blush, Nude,
Dusty Rose), brown shades (Light Bronze)
or extremely pale tones (any of the
Champagne colors by themselves, or shimmers)

Asian women look great wearing
red lipstick.
They can use various shades of red and look terrific
in deep maroon.
As a rule, lipsticks with brown
undertones look good on everyone.
If you want to make your teeth
look whiter, use pink, red or plum color lipcolor.
Orange-toned lipcolor will make your teeth look more
yellow.
Want a pouty sexy mouth? Dab
a touch of gloss in the center of your top lip.

Brush Guide

Eyeshadow Application
- Make sure you covered the eyes when foundation was
applied
- Using the Contour brush and a darker color (Mystic
Moss or Ebony Essence), make a small "V"
shape starting from the outside corner of the eye
- do not go above the crease and then blend slightly
toward the inside of the lid.
- Wipe your brushes in between colors on a towel if
you do not want colors to mix.
- Using the Shadow brush and Mocha Java, follow slightly
in the crease and on the eye bone (depending on your
eye structure) so that a very small amount of the
darker color is blended in with the Mocha, but also
the Mocha is left distinct along that ridge.
- Also with the Shadow brush (do not clean off brush)
take a small amount of Mulberry and follow along the
top of the Mocha. Blending the same - a small amount
blended, with a small amount left distinct. Clean
your brush on a towel.
- Again with the Shadow brush, take the very tip of
the brush and Candlelight and draw a line along the
brow bone just under the brow line. Blend in to keep
lighter and highlighted. (Highlighter also works here
or Lilac Mist depending on preference)
- Using the Contour brush put a very small amount
of Lilac Mist (or other light color) on the inside
corner of eye and blend outward.
- Using the Angle brush, you can fill in dark brows
with Ebony or Mocha. You can line top or bottom of
eyes with Ebony or Mystic Moss.
- Be sure to squirt Foops! in your hand and clean
your brushes, then rinse and dry.
